SIBC to Host Mural Unveiling Ceremony Honouring Mohawk Women – Public Invited
What:
The Seaway International Bridge Corporation (SIBC) will host a special unveiling ceremony for a new
mural created by Kirby Thompson, an SIBC toll attendant and member of the Akwesasne community.
The mural pays tribute to the strength, leadership, and cultural legacy of Mohawk women across
generations.
When:
Thursday, June 19, 2025
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Seaway International Bridge Facility
Public parking available at the entrance of the Causeway (Brookdale Avenue and Water Street, Cornwall)
