Escort procedures:
- All transits requiring an escort will be provided a transit time by the Seaway International Bridge Corporation (SIBC).
- A standard fee of $100.00 is charged for an escort. If two trucks from the same company are escorted at the same time, only one standard fee will apply.
- All escorts must be coordinated and approved by SIBC operations between 8:00-16:00 Monday to Friday, using the SIBC Escort Request Form (PDF format) or Open this link to fill out the form online.
- To allow for staff scheduling, escort arrangements must be made before 13:30 of the prior weekday.
- All escorts will be scheduled between 7:00-8:00 Monday to Friday.
- There will be no escorts performed on holidays or weekends.
